Changamoto Youth Development Organization (C.Y.D.O) is a registered Non-Government Organization founded in January 2011 to empower Tanzanian communities and combat climate change. Operating under registration number 21NGO/0004747 and TIN 118-511-379, we are dedicated to creating sustainable development through youth empowerment and environmental conservation.
Impacting lives through community-driven initiatives
We lead climate action initiatives including large-scale tree planting, forest restoration, and water source protection programs across Tanzania.
We provide training, skills development, and capacity building programs that equip young people with tools for success and self-reliance.
Developing skilled youth leaders who drive Tanzania's sustainable future forward.
We implement grassroots projects promoting socio-economic and cultural development at local, district, regional, and national levels.
We recommend policies and programs that narrow the gap between rich and poor, promoting equity and inclusion.
We pay special attention to disadvantaged populations including youth, women, widows, children, orphans, elderly persons, and people living with HIV/AIDS.
We conduct studies on youth poverty issues and organize seminars, workshops, exhibitions, cultural shows, study tours, and exchange programs.
